Haye Yukio (b. Velserbroek, the Netherlands, 1992) is a Dutch American photographer living and working in Los Angeles since 2019. His mother is Dutch and his father is Japanese and Indonesian.
Outside of his professional work, Haye has focused his lens on everyday street life, including his most recent examination of the ongoing housing crisis, titled “NO COUNTRY,” as well as an evolving project documenting the Venice Boardwalk.
His unique style is the result of years of experimentation shooting 35mm color film and at-home film processing. In 2022, he made the switch from print film to Kodak motion picture film to further refine his unique aesthetic.
